Quilted Purple with Monogram wedding Cake

I’m sure that it is no surprise to anyone that around here we love the color purple! We were thrilled to create this cake that has a quilted pattern with tiny purple dots and a very deep purple middle tier.  A hand piped monogram personalizes the middle tier.

Tree Silhouette Wedding Cake

We enjoy working with clients who think out of the box.  Rather than piping a tree we created a relief of two tree silhouettes using a modeling chocolate paneling technique.   Edible autumn colored leaves and two small lady bugs were added for a more rustic, natural feel.

Venue: Della Terra Mountain Chateau

Guitar Groom’s Cake

One trend that we are seeing right now is Groom’s cakes, even surprise Groom’s cakes! For this one the bride sent us an image of her hubby to be’s favorite guitar and we created a life size version for their special day.

Thank you for the compliments Lynn. The neck is foam core covered in modeling chocolate. There are a couple of skewers that go through the neck, into the cake for attaching and a few dowels under the neck for support. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

I love all your cake. You guys are so talented. I am always excited to see a post. I am making a guitar cake for my husband and was wonder about the neck how did you support it.

Thanks lynn
