Burlap Wedding Cake

Burlap and lace offers a great combination of textures and is a hot wedding trend right now.  We often incorporate lace into our wedding cake, but this is a first for a realistic burlap look!  The burlap “flower” was hand crafted out of modeling chocolate.  We also included some cupcakes wrapped in lace for their dessert bar.  The other desserts were provided by a family member.

All of the fabulous decor for this wedding was put together by Alison Polson of Parties on a Pedestal.   And the amazing photography was provided by Shelley Coar Photography

Venue: Noah’s

I can’t get the link to the tutorial to work. Is there any way someone can email it to me maybe? I’m really wanting to make this for my wedding cake. Thank you!
